About this work

Description

Either a promotional toy or a small display novelty advertising Oxo beef extract cubes. This is a diecut illustration of a young boy dressed as a chef carrying a large Oxo cube in his left hand and 2 steaming cups of hot Oxo on a green tray on his right. The base is folded back so that the 'doll' can stand. It seems to be printed on tin.
