Description

Excerpts from minutes of the monthly meetings of the Board of Trustees and Directors and the Works, House and Farm Committees. At the rear of the volume is an abstract of accounts for year ending 1897. A note on the inside cover written by Dr C. C. Easterbrook states, 'The minutes in this volume are incomplete and deal mainly with remits to the Med. Supt. & Heads of Departments. Excerpts complied by Dr Rutherford.' Loose items found in this volume: 1) Letter of application from Dr J. Rutherford to the Directors of the Crichton Royal Institution, relating to his first and unsuccessful application for the post of Medical Superintendent, 1 November 1897 2) Copy of CRI Act 1897 (as amended in Committee)
