Description

Letter from H W Claxton, UCL Accountant, to Miss Judkins, J B S Haldane's secretary, dated 28 May 1948 enclosing a letter from W Weaver, Director of The Rockefeller Foundation, referring to the procedure for unexpended balances; Claxton states that expenditure will exceed the grant from The Rockefeller Foundation, and therefore all remaining money due should be requested prior to 30 Jun 1948.


Letter from Judkins to Claxton dated 29 Jun 1948 referring to a letter from Weaver in which he states that the account for 1946-1947 is closed and no further payment can be made.


Letter from Claxton to Judkins dated 2 Jul 1948 advising that it would not be suitable to obtain the 1946-1947 balance in view of Weaver's letter dated 16 Jun 1948, which is enclosed with Judkins' original letter of request to Weaver, dated 9 Jun 1948.
