Notes on chemistry

Cahier V. Notes de chimie. Author's holograph MS., with 47 inserted notes and oddments. Illustrated with pen-drawings of chemical apparatus, etc. The back-strip reads as given above: a title written in pencil on the first leaf is 'étude du soufre et des sulphures', but the MS. contains notes of chemical research on various substances, and on the making of artificial gems. Two of the odd slips are dated 1887, and 1891 is found on the last leaf of the text. Produced in Paris.
