Notes

Michael Alexander Brown is from Derby but originally from Leeds. He is taking part to be immortalised and to be part of something bigger. He is trying to do something that is true to him but which will let him interact with people. He is quite a calm person. He is going to have a barbeque on the plinth. He was born in Leeds and lived there until he went to university in Nottingham. He then spent five years in London with his girlfriend/future wife. He works in bids and tenders for a healthcare company; he likes the structure and process of the job. Family and friends are important to him; he has a nine month old boy. Describes how having a child has changed him. He is there to represent his region, himself, his history and he thinks it is important to participate. He doesn't think it matters whether the project is art or not but hopes it will make people think about what they want to see.
