About this work

Description

The hotel shown here was an important part of Saratoga Springs' attraction as a watering place and leisure resort, It was apparently damaged or destroyed by fire in 1866 and then rebuilt with a new version of the present "piazza" (promenade). The second hotel was demolished ca. 1911
