About this work

Description

A treatise of bandages. Comparative anatomy, [etc.]. At the end of the first work is the signature of 'Henry Miller 1742' in pencil: his name 'Henry Miller, Surgeon' is also inscribed on the first fly-leaf. Both works are written by the same hand, and at the end of the second work is inscribed 'John Craufurd scripsit'. The last 8 ll. are by different contemporary hands, and contain notes on diseases, prescriptions, etc. Produced in Edinburgh.

1 volume 56 pp. + 102 pp. + 17 pp. + 8 ll. 4to. 21 × 16 cm. Original half-calf binding. The bottom half of the last leaf of the index to the second work has been torn away.
