Description

Two Undertakings relating to the manufacture by Tomlinson & Hayward of Sheep Dipping Powder:

8 July, 1887. Signed Undertaking by Mr Boxall and Mr Hay not to disclose "the methods, ingredients, proportions, processes and machinery" concerning the production of Sheep Dipping Powder, nor to use such knowledge for their own purposes.

31 July, 1890. A signed Undertaking by Mr Wilson, of a similar nature.

Also, two draft letters (both "approved" 31 July, 1890), informing customers and foreign agents of Tomlinson & Hayward that from 1 June, 1890, the company has ceased "to manufacture or sell any Arsenical Sheep Dip in powder form". All stocks have been purchased by Messrs Cooper & Nephews, who will be pleased to supply all future Sheep Dipping Powder requirements.
