Notes

Sue Luminati comes from Poole in Dorset. She is instigating the Poole Literary Festival in 2010 to bring culture to her hometown. She had previously worked in marketing and then completed an MA in culture and events. On the plinth she wants to promote the festival and works of local authors and the magic of literary word. She has collaborated in working with a London based artist who has made the costume (she is wearing) and will be using 3 books which have been lent by participants of the Festival and hopes to auction afterwards to raise funds for the festival and words to create visual impact. She also will be taking photographs. She will be throwing paper aeroplanes into the crowd which will contain words that are meaningful and also cupcakes.
