Notes, calculations and tables written and compiled by Edgar Schuster, Ethel Elderton and Francis Galton:

  • Calculations, including discussion of nomenclature; grades of normal, concave and convex distribution; combinations of ability and opportunity compared with mean abilities; calculations normal-normal, convex-normal, concave-normal; a trial summary; and correlated values.
  • Various tables, compiled with data from the printed and non-printed lists, detailing all kinsmen, noteworthy kinsmen, male kinsmen and female kinsmen, fathers and brothers of Fellows in the printed list, families from all the records, and numbers of kinsmen across families. Also included are tables numbered I, II, III, IV and V, which are referred to in the Calculations.
  • Distribution charts and graphs; indices of weighted noteworthiness and transmission of noteworthiness; lists of selected families, heavily annotated; and notes on analysis.
