Diffuse lepromatous leprosy (LL): Lucio phenomenon This is a medium power view of an upper skin section from a case of Lucio (diffuse lepromatous) leprosy in reaction. It shows a necrotic (ischaemic) epidermis, which is infarcted as a result of vascular obstruction. H&E stain.
