Including re resignation of Dr Ross Innes and events leading to Browne’s appointment; organisation and preparations for the 11th International Leprosy Congress, Mexico City, in 1978 (with programme, correspondence with Depthnews Science Service, Manila, re research developments, correspondence with Africa Health re article based on Browne’s congress address “Leprosy, Mexico and you” ), and the 12th International Leprosy Congress, New Delhi, in 1984; Browne’s membership cards 1966 and 1968; some correspondence with the International Journal of Leprosy as member of the editorial board 1966 (covers his articles “The value of nasal smears in lepromatous leprosy” and “Granuloma Multifore in Eastern Nigeria” and editing of papers by other authors). Also contains 3 letters from 1963, one concerning Browne’s work for the ILA and two between Ross Innes and Prof. T N Jagadison re the latter’s work for the ILA. (See also F.4/2/1)
