22 January, 1920. Copy letter, William Cooper & Nephews to Colonel S R Timson (Sydney). "Following the incorporation of the British Business, it has been definitely decided to proceed at once with the formation of separate and independent Companies in Australia, South Africa, Argentine and Uruguay. New Zealand and other outlying countries will be embraced within the British Company. Mr Chamberlayne has prepared for guidance the enclosed notes and instructions to which it is not necessary to add very much." Further comments follow in the letter.
