Notes

Linda Robinson is writer from Billingham Teeside. She has spent all of her life in North East England and feels local community is very important. She enjoys Antony Gormely's work particualry Angel of the North which is quite close to where she lives. She writes poetry and is currently completing her first collection which is due to be published in a book alongside contributions from a local landscape photographer. One of her poems 'Steel Rivers' has attracted media attention as it is about the last steel mill on the river Tees which is currently under threat of closure. On the plinth she will be reading a selection of her poems. She is very excited about this, as despite writing for many years this will mark her first public performance.
