Description

Prescription book. Compiler's holograph MS. This physician's practice appears to have been extensive and varied: in April, 1701 there are entries for prescriptions for medicines ordered for the Duchess of Norfolk, and 'to the man at the "Black Dog" '. 'A medical note-book of N. Johnston' is entered in the 'Appendix' (p. 462b), as part of the F. Bacon Frank MSS. Produced in London.
