5 copy typed letters [5pg] re the request between Markby Stewart & Co (acting for Henry Wellcome) and Humphreys, Son & Kershaw (acting as executors of SMB).
This was regarding a dispute over possession of title deeds to Phoenix Mills in the months after SMB's death. As part of the partnership agreement Henry Wellcome argued the firm [i.e. Wellcome himself] had right of possession.
