The idiom, phrases and proverbial sentences belonging to it. V. A short pointing at the French and Latin etymology. A work useful for such as would speak what they mean in a proper and pure diction; and write true English. Translated into German and improved, as also added an appendix not onely of such words as are not of so general an use, necessity and pureness, but likewise of the most common proper- and nick-names, by Theodore Arnold.
