Description
Letter from Mann, thanking Galton for forwarding William Proudfoot's letter and photograph [enclosed], and discussing aboriginal drawings.
Letter from William Proudfoot to Galton, regarding an acquaintance of himself and Dr Mann, a Bushman from Natal. Proudfoot encloses two photographs of the man, one for Dr Mann and one for Galton.
Enclosed carte de visite of the unnamed Bushman, annotated on verso by Galton "Dr Mann's Bush boy who drew so well, afterwards in service of Mr Proudfoot who sent me this. The boy is dead."
