Notes

Lewis Charles Orchard is from Lewes in East Sussex. He is wearing a 1940s navy wool suit, tie and shirt that he wears for balboa and lindy hop dancing. He relucantly learnt to dance a few years ago and got sucked in. He designs copyright artwork for printed garments such as shirts and swimwear. He is interested in the idea of statues, he finds normal statues very dull. He is just going to stand for an hour and let people imagine who he is then tell them a bit about himself afterwards via a facebook page his sister has made for him. He is doing the project for himself. He hopes to have a good photo of himself at the end. He sees the project as a record. He sees art as a product, he likes this project because it is less of a product and democratic.
