Correspondence with Dr H A Krebs, Department of Biochemistry, concerning future collaboration in the field of chemotherapy. In particular, correspondence arising with the Medical Research Council (Sir Edward Mellanby) concerning potential collaboration in cell metabolism research: "I have to thank you for your letter of 28th November conveying the decision of the Medical Research Council that they wish to be wholly responsible for the financing of their Research Unit of Cell Metabolism, and they hope to be able to provide Dr Krebs with all the assistance he may require" (Dr F Hartley to Mellanby, 29 November 1945).
