Mid-borderline leprosy: type 1 leprosy reaction

Mid-borderline (BB) leprosy: type 1 leprosy reaction A type 1 reaction is seen here in a case of BB. There is oedema of the wrist and hand. The scaly lesions are not typical of leprosy and may be psoriasis. Note the additional little finger (polydactyly), which is incidental.
