C r) . On the eighth Day after Inoculation, he be¬ gan to be diiordered with a Headrach and Vo¬ miting. His Vomiting was frequent and vio¬ lent ’till the third Day of his Illuefs, and then it abated'hut did not ceafe, for he vomited at times ’till the fourth Day at Noon. No Took appeared, but on the third at Night purple Spots of different fizcs were obferved all over his Body, many of which were as large in Dia^* meter as a midling Pea. About this time he fainted’; and died in the Evening of the fourth Day, about twenty four Hours, after the firft Appearance of the Spots. He was extreamly thirfty during his Hind's, and for the raoft part pale and cold.. His Incifion had a good Digeftion at the fe- cotf d Drdfiug, which was on the third Day af¬ ter it was made, and cpntinu^d in this State ’tilt the Day on, which her fickened; then it grew pale, flaccid, and had little or no Dilcharge.
