About this work

Description

Several people are standing talking, some are dressed as policemen (?). They are mounting a production of an unidentified farce or comedy entitled 'Noblesse Oblige!'. The salon set is the same one used for 'La dame aux camélias' in other photographs in the Wellcome Library.
