There is no text other than numbers over individual organs (possibly there was an accompanying booklet relating to these which is missing from this copy). The illustration is divided into 2 halves, each of which has two main overlaying flaps that fold back to reveal deeper layers of anatomy. The upper half has smaller overlays beyond that.
