Notes

Arlette Carmichael comes from Cheslyn Hay near Walsall. She is studying landscape architecture at university and used to be a nurse. She is on the plinth to raise awareness and support the charity MIND. She is wearing a huge blue stress ball costume and a few of her friends will be wearing the MIND t-shirt and giving out leaflets. Hopes to have fun and try to make the crowd laugh. Talks about losing her daughter who was stillborn.
