Photograph of an oil painting of George Pearson (1751-1828), British physician and chemist, as a child seated with book in right hand. The painting was acquired at auction from Stevens on 2nd September 1924, Lot 604, and accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum (CC 3678).
