Volume containing some manuscript diary entries: f.4v, f.19, 24v. The volume also includes: leaflets relating to the war; POW hospital identity cards; photographs; identity card of a Dutch worker who worked in a weapons factory employing political prisoners (f.28v); photographs of a Russian POW (ff.50-52 recto only); petition from the patients in the Polish wing of the PWX hospital concerning the removal of a Polish doctor, which has been signed on the back by the patients (f.63); letter to Hall-Tomkin from an ex POW (f.68); Mention in Dispatches for Hall-Tomkin (f.69). In some cases Hall-Tomkin has supplied a very brief description as to what items are or where they came from.
