Description

Woodcut illustration from an edition of 1537 (16th year of Jiajing reign period of Ming dynasty). The kidney channel of foot shaoyin originates at yongquan (Gushing Spring) and terminates at shufu (Conveyor Mansion). There are 27 acu-moxa locations on this channel, i.e. 54 altogether on both sides of the body, all of which are clearly labelled. See 'Lettering' for full list of point names.
