Description

Correspondence between Eileen Macfarlane and Haldane primarily regarding Macfarlane's work on blood groups and Rhesus research. Includes extensive descriptions of Macfarlane's experiences finding work in the USA arriving in Britain during the Second World War. Enclosures are a press cutting from the Post-Standard, New York, featuring an article about bobcats, a copy of a report by Macfarlane on blood groups in India and a copy of a report by Macfarlane on instances of Mongolian spot [Congenital dermal melanocytosis] in children born in India.
