Description

A magnetic resonance image of brain with progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (T2 weighted) caused by Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. In the cerebral white matter on the left, there is a white lesion extending medially and posteriorly. The lesion also has a scalloped shape laterally, conforming to the contour of the outer grey matter rim, which is not affected. The eyes are seen at the top.
