Description
This film, using dramatic recreation (possibly improvised), dramatises the marital relationship between an estranged couple who are counselled separately. We hear both sides of their story which plays out like a kitchen-sink drama. The film is in two parts; (there is a pause between sections. At the end, the two counsellors meet to swap notes and discuss the case. Interestingly, the parts of the estranged couple are played by actors (with careers in television and theatre), whilst the counsellors play themselves.

Every word spoken is spontaneous and comes from emotional involvement.' It is based on a case involving the ‘Prices’ documented in a book ‘Marriage, A Study in Emotional Conflict and Growth’ written by the members of the F. D. B. - with a few salient details about the couple and the ages of their children altered
