Of the medical history v. 1 and 2 were prepared by J. J. Woodward, 1870-79; v. 3, by Charles Smart, 1888. v. 1 contains also an appendix with reports of medical directors and other documents by J. J. Woodward and George A. Otis, with separate t.-p. and pagination. Of the surgical history v. 1 and 2 were prepared by George A. Otis, 1870-76; v. 3, by G. A. Otis and D. L. Huntington, 1883
Vol. 3 of the Surgical history is first issued. There is also a "second issue" of the same date.
