About this work

Description

Historiated pen-drawn title-page, illustrated with neatly executed pen-drawn figures and diagrams, and written throughout in a very neat Italic hand. This MS. appears to be a student's notes of lectures at an unnamed 'Collegio' which started in 1683 (cf. Prelusione prima, fol. 2.). The date on the title-page is 1684. 'Cavagliere' (i.e. Bonaventura Cavalieri [1598-1647]) is mentioned on the first page, and it seems probable that these lectures were given at the Jesuit College in Bologna. Produced in Bologna?
