The Duroziez pharmacy: "L'officine avait été fondée en 1760, dans le faubourg Saint-Germain; elle avait la réputation d’une maison solide et sérieuse. Elle existe encore, sous le même nom, boulevard Saint- Michel." (G. de Beauvais, Éloge de Paul Louis Duroziez, Paris: A. Davy, 1898, pp. 7-8). "M. Duroziez, pharmacien, à Paris, rue des Francs-Bourgeois Saint-Michel, 18" is mentioned in Revue scientifique et industrielle, 1845, 22: 371. "Rue des Francs Bourgeois Saint-Michel" is said to have been the name of part of the Rue Monsieur-le-Prince between Rue Vaugirard and the Carrefour de l'Odéon before 1851. It is some distance south of Place St. Michel. It may be a coincidence that he is cited at the same street number in two different areas
