Lourdes - crowding for the 'Miraculous Water'. "Go drink at the spring and wash yourself there" was one of the messages given to Bernadette by the Virgin. Since that time the water of the Spring has been considered miraculous. Twelve taps convey it to the pilgrims, who drink it on the spot or carry it away in bottles and thermos flasks.
