Notes

Dominic Hinkins comes from Lincolnshire. He is dressed as the King of Lindsey, a small town conquered by King of Mercia 1330 years ago. He is here to promote his campaign to reclaim the throne for Lindsey and re-establish its independence. It's become a bit of a hobby which has taken over his life. On the plinth he will be standing there waving a flag. He is studying English Literature at Christ's College, Cambridge and would like to become a journalist.
