Description
Personal papers, ephemera and historical notes relating to the Cooper family. Items which can be distinguished as more related to the Cooper family than the Cooper business have been catalogued here. Included are items relating to the deaths of members of the family, items owned by or given to the family, historical papers and notes collected about the family, and some photographs.
Much of the material listed towards the end of the series seems to have been gathered by J A Hill, Company Secretary of Cooper McDougall & Robertson Ltd until his retirement in c 1941, during his research into the history of the Cooper family and business.
This series should be looked at in conjunction with the series of material relating to the history of the Cooper business.
