Description

Commentarius in Metaphysicam (ff. 1-134). Commentarius in universam Physicam (ff. 139-215). The second part is illustrated with a few pen-drawn figures. Each part has an engraved frontispiece showing a vase of flowers, etc., there is also an engraved tailpiece on fol. 215 of a wreath inscribed 'In coronide corona'. A student's notes of lectures, inscribed on the first fly-leaf: 'Ex libris Stephani Braquet Theologi': the date 1656 is also found on this leaf. Produced in Paris.

1 volume 2 ll. first bl.. + 216 ff. last bl.. 4to. 231/2 x 161/2 cm. Original calf-gilt binding. A folding table is prefixed to each part. Very carefully written in a neat small script.
