Description
Notebook belonging to John Grove, surgeon, containing memoranda on diseases, recipes and prescriptions, case notes, and commonplaces. The latter part of the volume (ff. 60-93) includes detailed case histories of some thirty patients made between 10 November and 30 December 1814; these were probably cases in the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, where Grove was a student (MD 1817).
