Brother Lunatic (1957) was written by Paul Warr (pseudonym), giving an insider's exposé of conditions and practices within mental hospitals and asylums at the time. This small collection includes Warr's notebook used to document his experiences, media coverage and reviews of the book and correspondence from the public received after the book's publication.

Paul Warr was the pseudonym of a psychiatric nurse. His first profession was as a journalist. He wrote the book, Brother Lunatic, about his experiences while training to be a mental health nurse.
