Papers re Campaign's relationship with the Tobacco Research Council (est.1956 as the Tobacco Manufacturers Standing Committee, renamed c.1963), particularly its agreement to advise the Council on directing funds for research; donations received from the Council; an ad hoc Campaign Tobacco sub-committee to discuss concerns about associating itself with a commercial body, Feb 1958; approvals and rejections by the Lung Cancer Sub-Committee and Standing Advisory Committee of projects put forward by the Council.
