Notes

Will Parker is from Parkgate in Cheshire. He likes Gormley's work and hopes to make a contribution. He initially felt the practicalities of travel to London outweighed the opportunity but had his mind changed. He is going to promote the charity (MacIntyre) he works for and a project they are doing called Great Interactions working with people with learning disabilities and preferred forms of communication. He has flash cards to promote this. He is glad to have seen so many good causes on the plinth. He describes himself as solid, safe and sound and hopes he is representative of society. He likes to think he is one of a collective; he is doing the project for himself and his charity. He likes the transparency, honesty, dialect and humour of the north.
