Notes

Soraya Tate comes from Milton Keynes. She was raised a Muslim but at the age of 18 her mother became a Christian and she was given the freedom she never had. She went to nursing college but then changed to art college. She was inspired to write a diary at age 18 by reading wartime diaries and has done so ever since. On the plinth she will write in her diary and has brought along things to make tea. Works as a PA at the Open University but loves costume (what she studied) and would like to work in this industry in the future.
