Description

Commonplace and scrapbook compiled by William Stott Maude, a general practitioner of Elland, Yorkshire. The volume contains medical notes, including a few case notes, prescriptions (many written by John William Garlick M.D., of Halifax, and pasted into the notebook), recipes, letters and press cuttings, some dating back to the early 1840s.
