Notes

Helen Pemberton is from a village near Northallerton. She was inspired to take part because the amount of money you have doesn't affect your chance of getting a place on the project. She is a school improvement advisor with Education Leeds. She is going say good morning London in around 60 languages, which she has received help from multi-ethnic schools in Leeds. She will be communicating in sign-language and a pictoral communication system for children with communication difficulties. She used to be quite active in the Labour party. She is doing the project for people in general. She has brought presents for the crowd; packs with a card, stickers and a mars bar to ensure they reached the ground. She expects to have fun. She is wearing a dress with 31 flags on. She describes herself as easy-going, fun, but private. She used to do amateur ballet and drama. She thinks that art should make you think.
