Description
Many examples of the words "Soloid" and "Solvad" written by various hands on sheets of white paper (signed and dated), together with related correspondence. The handwriting examples come from different parts of the world. For example: "Dear Sir, We desire to have in the typical handwriting of an Austrian the titles Soloid and Solvad" (29 April, 1909).
The original file-front, with its punning title ("Matters in hand"), is retained.
