Notes

Julie Kempen lives in Reading, Berkshire, was born in Hythe, Southampton and lived in Australia for a decade. While on the plinth she is going to read out Dr Seuss books - in particular The Cat in the Hat. She is doing this to make people aware of the Huntington Disease Association. Her brother suffers from this disease. While they were children they used to read together. She has also made some cup cakes and has asked her husband to hand them out. She has two children and is an Electorial Services Manager at Reading Borough Council.
