Description
This print shows part of the "Roman" bath-house in Strand Lane, near the Embankment. It was probably built in the seventeenth century, using some Roman antiquities imported by the Earl of Arundel

Lettering
Looking towards the west end of the bath ; the bath is covered in with a vaulted roof, the age of which is a matter of great interest to students of Roman London
