Description

Personal recordings made by Steve Abrams. Contains two tracks on the first side of the reel and three tracks on the second side. Recorded at mixed speeds (1 and 3 3/4 ips)

- Side A, track 1: music recordings taken from the radio. (00:23:27)

- Side A, track 3: Abrams setting up a recording which then cuts to people chatting with a piano playing over the top. Cuts to a radio music broadcast at 00:07:33. At 00:09:45 it cuts to an American man introducing a recording as "a recording from the house of Stephen Abrams". There is a television on in the background and hear some of the content in amongst general conversation. Cuts to various music radio broadcasts at 00:13:53. (00:25:22)

- Side B, track 2: music recordings, possibly taken from the radio (00:34:01)

- Side B, track 4: class piano recording and other music broadcasts. (00:22:10)

- Side B, track 4 and 2 (stereo): introduction to a recording of Leonard Bernstein narrating "Peter and the Wolf". (00:05:18)
