Adrian Johnson comes from Smethwick, West Midlands. He is a writer and storyteller by trade. He was in the square 20 years ago to the day protesting against poll tax and on the plinth he will be recounting stories of that day and other important protests, demonstrations etc. that have taken place in Trafalgar Square in the past.
